What's your favorite hobby?
Winter is the perfect time to indulge in all the pastimes and projects we never seem to get around to the rest of the year. It’s also a great opportunity to take up a new hobby. In fact, January is National Hobby Month.
The top five hobbies according to Statista include music, food, reading/writing (no surprise there!), travel, and pets. The next most popular hobbies include video games, health and fitness, watching sports, and arts and crafts.
Those are fairly broad categories. Musical hobbies, for example, could range from playing a musical instrument or listening to music to collecting albums or attending concerts.
I’m a bit of a foodie so the hobbies I enjoy related to food include cooking, dining out, and riding my bike to the farmers market for fresh local produce. Wait a minute, that pastime covers multiple hobbies!
