Regency Theatre Attendance
During the Regency, going to the theatre was more of a social experience than to actually watch the show. Patrons were known to arrive late and talk throughout the entire performance. The most important part was seeing who was there and making social — or even romantic — connections! A bit different than the theatre etiquette we have today! #Regency #theatre
