All Hallow's Eve

Some Halloween traditions come back year after year, like carving pumpkins and enjoying treats. However, some that have disappeared over the years may surprise you.
During the Regency there was a superstition that women would be able to see their future husband’s face on All Hallow’s Eve. By looking into a mirror in the dark only on this night, the face of her future husband was believed to appear. However, if she saw a skull instead, that meant she would die before she married.
Did you celebrate with any Halloween traditions this weekend?
